節(jié)點單元具有通過arESB總線將現(xiàn)場的模擬I0信號和觸點LO信號與現(xiàn)場控制單元(FCU)進行通信的接口功能，以及向VO模塊供電的功能。
ANB10S和ANB10D被稱為“ESB總線節(jié)點單元”(本地節(jié)點)，因為它們通過ESB總線直接連接到FCU，而ANRIOS和ANR10D則被稱為“ER總線節(jié)點單元(遠程節(jié)點)，因為它們通過ER總線連接到安裝在ESB總線節(jié)點單元中的EB401(ER總線接口主模塊)。

The node unit has the interface function of communicating the field analog I0 signal and contact LO signal with the field control unit (FCU) through the arESB bus, and the function of supplying power to the VO module.
