The functionality is designed as a modular system that can be extended and customized by applying uniquely defined system control and alarm attributes for the user. It is composed of a control card and an interface card to connect various fire and gas detectors to the control card. Engineering cards are used for commissioning, maintenance, system health checks, and alarm level audits.
Controller card
Fire and gas control cards can be inserted into the same rack.
5701 gas control card for single channel operation, 5704 gas control card for four channel operation. Each card has two inputs, 4-20mA and mV, for catalytic detection. Displays gas readings and views them in graphic format. Peak readings and sensor performance are also monitored. Viewing modes can be switched between single or combined channels. Three levels of alerts and options, including personal, zoning, Voting, Master Alert, Delayed Alert, Update and rise Speed alert facilities.
The 5704F Fire control card features four fire zone inputs for pairing with flames, smoke, heat detectors and manual call points. Leds indicate the status of each fire area. Each card has two line monitoring outputs for alarm, and there may be 19 cards in a 15-inch rack, providing 60 fire zones.

Interface card
There are 9 versions of the interface card (5 for 5701 Gas, 2 for 5704 Gas, and 2 for 5704 Fire control cards), which accept 2.5mm No. 14 cables. Each has relay options and separate control card power options.
Serial communication
Provides serial communication modules that allow pairing with remote devices (DCS, PLC or SCADA packages) for channel monitoring, inspection and configuration.
