Susan Beardslee, principal analyst for Supply chain Management and logistics at ABI Research, said: “By the end of 2021, global commercial vehicle registrations (covering light to heavy duty) exceeded 223 million units. Using the Anba CVflow AI processor, Wincher Technology is the first to be applied to the Level 3 autonomous heavy truck jointly developed by Wincher and its partner Ovens to provide vehicles with leading collision prevention capabilities that are indispensable for commercial operation. We expect global shipments of SAE L2-L4 autonomous commercial vehicles to exceed 4.2 million units by 2030.” (Citation 1)

The ASIL-C chip Functional safety certified Amba CV2FS is deployed to perform safety applications such as collision avoidance while meeting high functional safety requirements for systems. In addition, the AEC-Q100 (Grade2) certified Amba CV2AQ chip can also be used to perform image segmentation and target detection, including traffic signs and lane detection.
