AXLINK100

The aXlink100 interconnects Ethernet with Profibus, which uses Xlink, a real-time Ethernet protocol developed by AutomationX. The aXlink100 integrates two Ethernet interfaces, available as an 8P8C (RJ45) or fiber option, and a Profibus-DP main interface. These interfaces allow for multiple system and network configurations.
Thus, the device allows the configuration of electrical rings via CAT5 cables or network and/or server redundancy via switches in a star layout network. Thus, each unit can connect up to 16 Profibus Masters (aXlink100) and 124 Profibus-DP slaves to automationX.
