PLATE?F860-CA

The PLATE F860-CA is designed to provide redundant power to eight Foundation fieldbuses H1 segments when used with the Honeywell Experion “Series C” Fieldbus Interface Module (fim). The module bracket meets the mechanical and electrical requirements of the 11.6-inch I/O Terminal Assembly (iota) and can be installed directly into the Honeywell installation channel. The fieldbus segment is powered by two redundant power modules f801 or f802. Fault warning, current isolation, power regulation and segment termination are incorporated into each F80x module. In simplex applications, a single F80x module can be used. When one or more F80x modules are installed, the F860 IOTA automatically maintains the termination of the fieldbus segment. To ensure high reliability, the F860 IOTA adopts passive mode and only provides the interconnection between the power module and external connections. IOTA has two multi-pin connectors, each connected to FIM IOTA via a standard system cable.
Different lengths are available to accommodate the installation of the F860 and its respective FIM iota in different locations within the Series C IO cabinet. Field wiring is connected to the redundant power supply in FIM IOTA.·8 fieldbus segments
