Scanlab has released the digital encoder-based intelliSCAN 14 scanning system for integration into manufacturing tools. intelliSCAN 14 is an all-digital scan head with a digital encoder for position feedback, IDrive-based digital control electronics, and a 20-bit SL2-100 control interface. intelliSCAN 14 is ideal for high-precision machining and is designed for applications that require scan head speed and accuracy close to high-end XY stage. intelliSCAN 14 has extremely low drift and can be tiled in the highest precision applications, reducing the need for additional checks or readjust throughout the process. With a tracking error of just 130 microseconds, intelliSCAN 14 is comparable to the fastest high-speed scanning heads available and allows for the highest processing speeds without aging effects.
