Vpl-b1304c-pj14aa servo motor is a low inertia servo motor in the VPL servo motor series.
It comes with 4 built-in permanent magnet stacks that enable it to operate at low inertia levels. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA low inertia servo motor also has a built-in 24 volt DC holding brake, which can be used to hold the motor shaft at rest, but not to stop the shaft.

The shaft also has shaft keys and does not have shaft seals, but does not require shaft seals unless used in applications involving large amounts of water or other fluids. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA low inertia servo motor operates safely at ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius or 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA environmental rating requires the housing to be at least IP50 without a shaft seal and can also be installed into the IP66 housing with an optional shaft seal and using an environmentally sealed cable connector. The module also has 200 and 400 volt class windings with high energy rare earth magnets and threaded holes at the shaft end. The motor has been specifically designed to meet Kinetix 5500 drive ratings to optimise system size.

The module also features single-cable technology with a high torque dimension ratio and low rotor inertia. The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA is ideal for a variety of applications, including packaging, processing, material handling, electronic assembly, automotive and metal forming applications. Kinetix low inertia motors are also available for high performance encoders.
The VPL-B1304C-PJ14AA low inertia servo motor has a voltage of 400V and a rated speed of 2500 rpm. It also includes a 130 mm frame size and an IEC metric free mounting hole (type FF) mounting flange.
