The PXIe-1073 (part number: 781161-01, 781163-01 and 196695B-01) is an AC PXI chassis with an integrated controller for remote control applications. This model has a compact and durable design and features five peripheral slots for I/O modules. There are two PXIe slots and three hybrid slots. The NI PXIe-1073 case maintains quiet operation, making it suitable for portable, benchtop and industrial control applications.

The PXI chassis comes with an x1 MXI-Express interface that can be accessed through the MXI-Express chassis controller connector at the rear of the chassis. The MXIe interface can be connected via cable to provide control of the chassis. There is no slot number 1 on the NI PXIe-1073. Instead, the MXIe interface rear connector.

The PXIe-1073 NI helps users create the most valuable PXI Express system on the market today. The NI PXY-1073 features an integrated MXI-Express controller that provides a transparent remote link with a sustained throughput of up to 208 MB/s.
