The CC-PAIM01 I/O module is equipped with a unique patented hot channel form factor whose components can be implemented in several ways to provide a solution without a single point of failure. These highly flexible modules can be placed locally and remotely in the control processor. Niver C Series /O modules with I/O Terminal Components (IOTAs)- perform modular diagnostic input and output scanning and processing for all field I/O data and events. For more efficient use of controller resources, 0 processing is performed separately from the control processing function, so the CC-PAIM01 0 sampling rate is completely independent of I/O volume, controller load, processing, and alarm. It also allows for more efficient utilization of advanced control processor capabilities and prepares for future I/O expansions.
