The IC670ALG310 module is a voltage source analog output module. It is designed with 8 different voltage output channels that can be automatically adjusted according to the operator’s configuration. The module takes inputs from the bus interface unit connected to it, enhances the data for calibration, and converts the data to an output voltage in the -10 to +10 volt range. The IC670ALG310 output module has enhanced diagnostic capabilities. It can easily detect overrange and underrange conditions, user outages and uncalibrated modules. The output module also has an alarm function that can be set by the user for different events. When the output value does not meet the th 50 millivolts requirement of the module’s maximum or minimum output setting, the module regards the output value as under range and out of range.
