The IC693APU302 is a two-axis positioning module used primarily as a motion and position control element. The module is capable of controlling two axes or two servo motors to achieve simultaneous control of motion and position. The IC693APU302 is a smart module that can be configured to operate in standard and follow mode. In standard mode, the module runs and integrates the control with the user logic in the PLC memory for high performance control. In driven mode, the module provides high performance electronic drives for both master and slave applications. The module is downloaded with a configuration developed using the Motion Programmer package or VersaPro software, with software versions as low as 1.1. The front panel of the IC693APU302 module is fitted with two (2) moving-shaft ports via 9-pin D-shell connectors, and two (2) 25-pin high-density ports to accommodate servo connections. Custom cables can be used to establish connections to modules, however, pre-assembled cables are also available for faster wiring and terminating.
