The IS215VPROH1BD is an Emergency Turbo Protection card (VPRO). This PCB, together with its associated terminal board (TPRO/TREG), provides the Mark VI with an independent emergency overspeed protection system. The module’s Trip solenoid is separate from the turbine control system and is located on the TREG board. The turbine can be tripped by either patch panel. The TREG board provides the positive connection for the solenoid and the TPRO provides the negative connection.
The IS215VPROH1BD digital input module usually supports multiple channels and can simultaneously connect and monitor multiple digital signal sources. Input signals are periodically sampled to obtain real-time digital signal status. The input module converts the external signal into digital form for easy processing by the digital system. Features programmable logic to achieve specific control and monitoring tasks.
