The IS220PDIAH1A is a discrete input module manufactured by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe family for gas turbine control systems. The electrical connection between one or two I/O Ethernet networks and the discrete input terminal board is provided by the Discrete Input (PDIA) package. The component supports up to 24 contact inputs, as well as feedback signals specific to the terminal board and PDIA. The TICI type with voltage sensing isolates the connection of discrete input boards.
IS220PDIAH1A I/O packages or modules feature specific acquisition boards connected to processor boards. When the input power is applied, the soft start circuit gradually increases the available voltage on the processor board. The processor restarts and shuts down, and the local power supply turns on in sequence. After completing the self-check routine, the processor loads the application code from flash memory specific to an I/O package or module type.
